CAST SPOTLIGHT: Megan Raitano

I met Megan Raitano only a few months ago when she started our Meisner I program at Truthful Acting Studios in August 2016. From the very first few classes, I could immediately tell that she contained a passion and drive that would propel her in her craft.
Throughout her first semester, I watcher her grow at a tremendous rate, and the thing that really stood out to me was her work ethic. Whatever notes I would give her, she worked incredibly hard to keep pushing herself further and further, and many times, she would go above and beyond her required class work.
In her audition for TAPE, she showed a maturity that I rarely see in a newer actor. She allowed herself to fully immerse into the life of the character, and it left us wanting more. While we knew this would be her first stage experience, her confidence and strong work ethic made the choice easy.
Today, Megan is currently in our Meisner II class, and she continues to work at a very high level. She has become a humble leader amongst her peers, and is respected by those around her. We could not be more proud of the work she is doing in TAPE as Amy Randall, and we know that this is only the beginning of a very bright acting future for this amazingly creative artist.
